Neverending Storm
It appears that the malware writers of the Storm worm have found a new way of feeding the hungry spamming botnet,
by using good’ old e-cards in e-mails (worms and e-mails… they’ re more than just a happy couple)….
The method of infection is the usual:
- A little e-card arrives to your mailbox;
- You click on the link, which “leads” to your beautiful e-card;
- Storm installs itself;
- Ooops.
No commentsHow Linux Could Climb Up the OS Food Chain…
The answer is simple. What the users want is familiarity, compatibility, no financial related problems and non-obligatory Terminal/Console.
The average user just avoids terminal related activities. Even if that means installing you favorite application or just some miner plug-in. The need to even show the system console up scares average user away from Linux. “Its Bad”
Ubuntu has done an excellent work making the terminal a resource for power-users and a simple VISUAL alternative for people that don’t care about about apt-get and other “terminally” activities. But the superuser or ROOT can still be a bit exposed to the average user and a fuss.
Good work Kurumin Linux on “Icons Mágicos” and “Clica-aki” and good work Caixa Mágica Linux on “XLucas ” for making the Linux experience easy!
Can developers create the Ultimate Linux Desktop Experience? a KISS experience?
We all hope so because alter Vista’s release, there have been a lot of PC boxes screening for a friendly OS to run. This whould make general Linux adaptation more accessible for the masses.
